The North Australian Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance Ltd (NAILSMA) is an Indigenous led not-for-profit company operating across north Australia. We work to assist Indigenous people manage their country sustainably for future generations.

TropWATER is leading large-scale research programmes aiming to develop rapid and cost-effective eDNA technology to identify and monitor species of management concern in northern Australia. This technology is revolutionising how we investigate biodiversity and the TropWATER team are experts in using eDNA-based approaches for practical monitoring and assessment of terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity. We are currently applying eDNA techniques to estimate the presence and distribution of aquatic invasive species (tilapia, climbing perch, snakeheads, cane toads), rare and endangered species (sawfish, frogs, turtles), invasive terrestrial species (yellow crazy ants, invasive bees and Varroa mites) and to determine the potential effects of fish passage barriers on barramundi movements.

The Reef and Rainforest Research Centre (RRRC) is a not-for-profit organisation delivering science-based solutions for healthy environments, resilient communities and sustainable economies across northern Australia, the Torres Strait and Papua New Guinea. For more than 20 years, RRRC has managed over $600 million in large-scale complex environmental programs, translating research into practical on-ground outcomes. Through a consortium of more than 80 partners – including Traditional Owners, researchers, government and industry – RRRC brokers knowledge into action. Its work spans Great Barrier Reef management, water quality, rainforest conservation, marine systems and community capacity building, guided by strong governance and Indigenous leadership.

RiverCherry Collect – l am a first Nation Aboriginal gifted Artist being an hobbyist creating unique Arts and Crafts past down through my ancestors and genetic lineage. My theme of my drawing and painting comes from my tribal connection of Traditional and Contempory concept of the Rainforest and Bushland of where grew up in the Far North
Queensland.

Yarna Secrets – I am an Indigenous person from Cairns and a traditional descendant of the Yirrganydji people of the Cairns to Port Douglas region. I create handmade Indigenous-inspired skincare products. My range includes crocodile massage oil, crocodile soaps and creams, as well as Kakadu Plum hydrating lotions and soaps.

Nancy Bowie is a proud descendant of the Jirrbal and Ngadjan-jii peoples of Far North Queensland. For over 30 years, Nancy has been sharing her stories through her artwork with each painting dedicated to support the work she does with children, young people and families.
